When you were a toddler
you don't have to crawl
for it's time to walk
and it's time to fall
And when you fell
we propped you up again
helping you to walk
so that things are not in vain
With each little step
that you moved forward
it gave you hope
you are not going backwards
And with each fall
that ended up in pain
it symbolizes the struggle
of enduring life again
And when you could run
it was so much fun
to see you being set free
amidst your playing spree .........
